Katharina and Raphael wanted a romantic post wedding shoot in a unique location of Bali. After doing some research and planning the logistics of getting to a more remote location, we decided on the stunning, barren but magical landscape of Tianyar Desert in North-East Bali.

This area of Bali is almost the opposite to what one might typically have in mind when thinking of this lush, tropical island paradise. Instead of palm trees, you can find dry savannah grasses. Instead of beach vistas, the stunning and awe inspring Mount Agung makes for a powerful backdrop. The dry conditions create a unique atmosphere, with the setting sun illuminating everything in its path.
